We headed to one of the grade 2 classes to set up for our plant, nutrition and cooking class. While I was organizing the rest of the group broke into  impromto singing and actions. The kids just loved head, shoulders, knees and toes as well as the hokey pokey!!!!

We explained why bananas are awesome to eat…especially if you have diarrhea. We explained that you need to add wood ash and chicken poop to the organic compost.

At the end of the school day Shaleigh, Kristie, Edith and Shirley organized the distribution of the organic dirt and plants. We needed a picture of every student receiving their plant for the website. It went fantastic and it was such a treat for me to leave this whole project in such cabable hands!!!!
