Boy was today ever a fun day.

I started the morning off in the Kindergarten classes. Each class learned about dental care. I have a dinosaur puppet with large teeth. He talked to the students about brushing your teeth. The kids were facinated by the puppet and listened intently to everything he said.

Then some of the students were able to brush his teeth.

I then showed the students how to brush their teeth and the importance of not swollowing the toothpaste. This was done in a humourous fashion to keep their attention.

Each student received a toothbrush and toothpaste thanks to generous donations by Karen Tregillas-Smith and Dr. Gill.

The next part of the day was not as fun. Myself and the teacher measured 2 classes shoe size. Oh my goodness the kids feet were dirty and stinky. We will now see if we can order the right size shoes.

In the afternoon we visited the home of #8 Maria and arranged for the chicken wire and posts to be put in her yard. Her family will be getting a garden in the next few weeks
