Jaime and I met Nicholas and his mom at the hospital. It took several hours but he had an x ray and a doctor consultation. He has broken the top part of the bone on his right wrist. Unfortunately it is the growth plate he has broken. The doctor gave him a brace as well as pain medicine and calcium. We have to take him to an orthopedic surgeon in Sololá next week.

Back at Diego’s home Catherine, Pedro and the family were working on the chicken wire. The 2 boys had gotten up at sunrise, climbed the volcano and found wood for fence posts. After art classes the rest of the group continued working on the
