Last night we had the biggest wind storm and I was concerned that we would not be able to make the boat trip to Panajachel this morning. But it looked calm so the group took off to Pana with 12 students to the Mayan Families office for their school supplies. It was a lot rougher than it looked and it took us twice as long as normal. The boys sat at the front of the boat and loves the bumpy ride and getting wet !!! The volunteers in the back of the boat were eyeing the life jackets.

After dropping the students and their moms at the MF office we headed to the home of Maria. She is one of our moms in Panajachel who makes the flannel baby diapers and sanitary pads. She was very happy to receive the money…however she is in dire need as she has not been able to find work for 3 months.
