It is super exciting seeing a student grow and flourish and that is what is happening to our student Francisco.

Francisco is in first year university studying agriculture, forestry and farm animals. This is a difficult course at one of the best universities in Guatemala. It was not Francisco’s first choice. He wanted to be a civil engineer. However engineering was not offered locally and was too expensive.

So Francisco was enrolled in an agriculture course and very quickly he was hooked. He is loving the program especially the opportunity to travel in Guatemala on field trips.

He is excited about the opportunity to improve the farming practices in Guatemala and especially in the Santiago Atitlan area.
