Today we headed to Panajachel. It was a really exciting day as were meeting with Days For Girls.

This is an amazing NGO that specializes in washable, reusable flannel sanitary pads. They have a fantastic program that discusses the reproductive areas of the body, trafficking and self defense. They have managed to get 800,000 women to take their course and receive their pads. Up until now they have been concentrating on Africa and Asia. They have one centre in Uganda and one centre in Nepal.

They are setting up a centre in Panajachel, Guatemala for Central America.
