Today was a much happier day. We started the morning by visiting our newest family gardens. Some of them are doing quite well and producing tons of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Rigoberto is making us list of everything they ate. For example bananas, papayas, tomatoes, radish, cabbage, Swiss chard, onions, cilantro, beans, dragon fruit, Chaya, limes, mandarins, oranges, strawberries, prickly pear, basil, oregano, spinach.

Neal from IMAP has been visiting the gardens and is really happy with the progress. I am totally pleased that the older garden are starting to have rich  soil filled with organic matter.

We also visited families and gave the gifts, photos and letters to the sponsor students. It was great visiting the homes and seeing the new stoves we have installed. All the families in the women’s cooperative were busily making Christmas ornaments for our sales. They are very thankful for the big order.
